TIME TRAVEL Is Possible: Here's How...

Image
TIME TRAVEL has been one of the most controversial topic over the past few decades that science has seen.Well, we're here to show you that time travel is possible and not only theoretically. If you want a complete understanding, read the full blog. What we see around us is the three dimensional space and it includes height, length, width, depth and  breadth . The theory of Special Relativity   proposed by Albert Einstein give birth to the Fourth Dimension where space and time  combine to form Space-Time . But how can you bend this dimension or travel through it.                                        TIME IS LINEAR AND ONLY MOVES FORWARD As we know time only moves forward. But theoretically speaking we can travel through time in a number of different methods. this include the concept of worm holes  which were born along with the theory of relativity. Also, it is said that gravity bends time and so it is possible that on a planet which has much more mass than our Earth, time will

ANTIMATTER: What Is It And Why Is It ??

Image
Anti-Matter is just the opposite of matter. A more specific definition will be that Anti-Matter  refers to the opposite of   subatomic particles . They are exactly similar to to all the subatomic particles but they have just the opposite charge. Anti-Matter consists of particles opposite to all the elementary particles including the Quarks , Muons, Tauon, neutrinos, and also electrons . For example,  Anti-Matter has positively charged electrons known as positron.                                     Anti-Matter colliding with regular matter and annihilating  Anti-Matter annihilates when it comes into contact with regular matter and results in the formation of neutrally charged Photons . Anti-matter was produced in September, 1996 at CERN where it was produced by colliding antiprotons with Xenon atoms over a period of three weeks  but these antimatter quickly annihilated. Till now we have only achieved to sustain antimatter for approximately 1000 seconds. Though slowly, humans are advan

STARLINK: What Is SpaceX Up To??

Image
In today's technological world, the Internet has become a very important part of our lives. May it be money transfer, socializing or even you reading this blog. The Internet helps us do anything and everything. It helps us to get answers to most of our questions and also helps us to stay connected with our family and friends even when we are alone. Internet  has become really necessary but we still face problems like low broadband speed and its inability to reach remote areas. Well, in order to fix this, SpaceX has a really ambitious plan of launching a constellation of 12,000 satellites in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in order to provide high speed internet service to everywhere including the most remote areas in the world.  SpaceX has already launched 655 Starlink  satellites and the public beta testing of their broadband service will be starting by about January 2021. The entire mission is expected to be completed by 2024. Starlink will provide accessible high speed internet at a

DARK ENERGY: Know It A Little Better...

Image
Since the Big Bang took place, the Universe has been constantly expanding. But why?? But how? All these questions come to our mind. The answer to all these questions is. Period. DARK ENERGY.  Dark Energy is responsible for the constant expansion of our Universe. It is a theoretical concept and it’s dependent on the theory of general relativity proposed by Albert Einstein. Dark energy opposes the force of gravity and it might be a little stronger. The presence of dark energy gives birth to the concept of Dark Matter but we will talk about that later. Although the concept of dark energy explains the nature of our universe a lot, we should remember that it’s a theoretical concept and any modification to the theory of relativity will also affect the concept of Dark Energy What do you think about this blog? (Mini Blogs) Where is Pluto right now...

Image
The planet Pluto was dis covered by the Lowell Observatory on 18th February, 1930. In August 2006, Pluto was declared as a dwarf planet  since and then we have not known much about it. The planet lies beyond Neptune's orbit in the Kuiper Belt and is also the largest object found there (and first!). The Kuiper Belt is filled with icy objects including other dwarf planets (Eris). Scientists also believe that there is another Neptune sized planet beyond Pluto but we will get to that later. With its tiny body of 1/3rd water, the icy planet of Pluto is always between 4.4 billion kilometres and 7.5 billion kilometres away from our home planet. If you liked this blog, please do comment. Also tell us your whether Planet X is real or not. To know what lies beyond the Kuiper Belt, keep reading our blogs.

Fermilab is about to lead 1 of 5 national centres in order to bring advancement in the field of quantum science information and this is big news.  The new initiative will help bring new superconducting materials and systems Center funding in order to develop a quantum coputerbased on super conducting technologies

Challenges we will face before we settle on Mars...

Image
Nothing good can be achieved in this world without overcoming obstacles. Same goes with space colonisation. For several years, we have believed and planned to settle on Mars. Real life Iron Man , Elon musk is trying to start the mission of space colonisation by 2023 by sending an incredible rocket (the Starship). But it’s not as easy as it sounds. We have to face several challenges throughout the mission.   1. Radiation:   One of the major challenges we will face is radiation exposure through the trip and also on the surface of the red planet. Mars has a really thin atmosphere and this allows major radiation exposure. We can prevent this by wearing radiation proof suits on the planet but that would lead to really uncomfortable living. 2. Asteroids: The really thin atmosphere of the planet also allows more asteroids to enter the planets which makes it prone to asteroid attacks. This is a major problem that we have to face . 3. Oxygen : Another problem that we will face on the red plane

(Mini Blog) THE ULTIMATE FATE: How Is The Universe Going To End....

Image
Everything in our universe including the universe itself has an end. Some theoretical physicists believe that the universe is going to mark its end somewhere between 2.5 billion years to 30 billion years. This will be more of a process and they call it THE BIG RIP  . The Big Rip will tear apart the entire universe and mark the end of space and time as we know it. Its just like filling a balloon with water and the balloon just keeps expanding until it pops. The balloon is the entire universe and the water is dark energy which results in the expansion of the universe. The Big Rip will be a terrifying and magnificent event. However it is highly unlikely that we will survive by then so let us just enjoy the present moment.  Did you find this blog interesting? Comment and let us know.

Our galaxy is about to collide with ...

Image
Our home galaxy ( the Milky Way ) and its much larger neighbour galaxy ( Andromeda ) are predicted to collide. Andromeda has been our neighbour for many billions of years but since last 10 years, scientists have observed something. The Andromeda and Milky Way are getting closer. Andromeda is racing towards us at the rate of 110km/s. Don’t get too tensed. Even at this speed, it will take at least 4 billion years for the two galaxies to collide.  Don’t worry. We’ll be long gone by then (unless we become an inter-planetary species). In approximately 4.5 billion years, the two spiral galaxies will collide to to form a magnificent elliptical galaxy . This collision will be better than any fireworks you have ever seen. Until any of that happens we are here to keep you updated about all cosmic and scientific events!.

HOW WILL THIS ENGINE HELP SPACEX REACH MARS....

Image
Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) has now revealed it's new engine, the Raptor . This beast (Raptor) will help SpaceX lift off it's super heavy rocket, the STARSHIP and  push the limits of humanity to Mars. The propellants used in the this engine are liquid methane and liquid oxygen (LOX)  The addition of reusability to this engine makes it one of a kind . The raptor is a significant improvement over its predecessor, the Merlin which has been used in the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets.  Since the Starship is much heavier than the other's (since it is made of stainless steel) and also the biggest rocket known, SpaceX's  Raptor has to reach a different level. The engine is believed to produce 2,200 kN of thrust which is more than twice the thrust of the Merlin engine (980kN). Though SpaceX owner Elon Musk is known to postpone things, SpaceX predicts to leave for Mars by the year 2023 and begin our journey of space colonization. Comment and tell us whether

NEUTRINO: How Can This Ghost Particle Change The Way You Look At The Universe....

Image
Neutrinos are tiny, almost massless particles that make up the entire universe. They are created by various like nuclear reactions like those taking place at the core of a star. They are also produced in our body by the radioactive decay of potassium. It is believed that they had been formed even before the creation of atoms. Neutrinos are elemetary paricles and cannot be subdivided and they travel at lightspeeds. Though they are in an abundance throughout the universe and millions of them are passing through you right now, they are very difficult to detect since neutrinos do not have any charge and are almost massless and they do not interact with any matter easily. Since they do not have any charge they are not affected by magnetic and electrical fields. However they are influenced by gravity. BUT WHY DO THEY MATTER... Neutrinos do not seem to forget their origin and so their detection can help us understand and examine the universe more closely than ever and can even change the wa
